Judge Marsha Revel sentenced Lyndsay Lohan to 90 days in jail, followed by a 90 day in patient rehab program, TMZ reports.
Apparently, Lohan was in violation of her probation from her 2007 DUI case, in which she was supposed to attend alcohol education classes on a schedule set by a judge. “I did the best I could,” a tearful Lohan stated to the court.
Lohan is scheduled to surrender to Judge Revel’s court on July 20th.
Now, I’m not trying to be mean, but I highly doubt she will have to serve the full 90 days. According to the TMZ article, she’ll probably only have to serve 25 percent of her sentence, which is around 23 days. I still doubt she would even do that much, given the amount of time other celebrities (such as Paris Hilton) served on their time. Plus, she might receive credit for any time served before that. However only time will tell.
