Today Lindsay Lohan exchanged high fashion for an orange jumpsuit as she began her 90 day jail sentence. According to Reuters, Lohan will serve her sentence in a 12 ft by 8 ft cell, which she will occupy alone for her own safety. As far as serving the full 90 days, nonviolent female inmates usually serve twenty-five percent of their time, which means Lohan might leave jail in as little as 14 days. Overcrowding and good behavior also play a big part.
So far Lohan “has been extremely cooperative and everything is going smoothly,” stated Steve Whitmore, spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
