If you are like many out there, then the wait between seasons of “True Blood” seems like an eternity. However, as Access Hollywood reports, the HBO Vampire extravaganza’s cast and creator dished on some spoilers at this year’s Paleyfest that should hold most “Trubies” over. Here is just a sampling of some of the subjects talked about:
Eric Northman loses his mind (sort of)
In a plot twist straight from the books, the cold and charismatic vampire Eric Northman (played by Alexander Skarsgard) will lose his memory at the beginning of Season 4.
“1,000 years of resentment for humanity is gone,” Skarsgard stated. “So Eric needs help.”
This should prove a challenge for the talented Skarsgard, who has made Eric come to life with a combination of confidence and sexiness that seems to drive fans wild. If he loses that, what will possibly happen?
Anna Paquin’s Sookie is now single and ready to mingle, thanks to last years betrayal by Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer.) Perhaps fans of Sookie/Eric might get their wish? Or maybe werewolf Alcide (Joe Mangallieno)? That would be something, but remember, his ex Debbie is still roaming the woods, so the question is would she return if the two got together?
What about Russell (Denis O’Hare)?
When we last saw the Vampire King of Mississippi, he was buried deep within concrete. Although creator Alan Ball would like to see him back, that probably will not happen this season. There will be another character, played by Gary Cole, entering the scene, however the details of his character have not yet been disclosed.
What I wish they would have covered was the reappearance of Godric, which was earlier reported by TVLine.
