It looks like another “Project Runway” alum from Season 4 is making waves. On last night’s “Dancing with the Stars,” Brooke Burke’s revealing taffeta gown was designed by none other than Rami Kashou, who came in second behind Christian Siriano. Burke, however, was not the first celebrity to wear the outfit; singer Keri Hilson debuted the piece at the 2010 NAACP Awards, and other designs by Kashou have been worn by the likes of Paris Hilton, Penelope Cruz and Malin Ackerman.

Welcome to the Ballroom folks for the first recap and review of the season. By the looks of the premiere, we are in for a bumpy ride. You know, there have been a lot of complaints that this season was light on bankable stars, and at first I was a little inclined to agree. Did the premiere change my mind? Read on to find out.
Now fans of the hit reality competition “Dancing with the Stars” know that sometimes the definition of “star” can get stretched quite a bit. Case in point: when this season’s cast was announced, many people heads started to scratch when the name Mike Cattherwood made the airwaves, with mine included. Well, here’s a little bit of a background on Lacey Schwimmer’s current partner, that way when the show premieres tomorrow you can show off to anyone who is still in the dark.
Last time the top 10 worst dancers were listed, but to begin the season of “Dancing with the Stars” on a more positive note, how about listing the top 10 surprise dancers to ever hit the floor. You know the ones I mean; the unknown “star” that somehow takes our breath away, or perhaps the the supposed “washed up star” that everyone figured would be a total disaster. Read through the list then comment on who your favorites are, or who you feel are missing.
Didn’t fox do this show a few years ago? In case you have withdrawals once Dancing with the Stars ends, ABC is introducing Skating with the Stars, basically the same who but on with ice skates instead of dance shoes. ABC has also named the stars they hope will bring in the sure to be curious audience: Mötley Crüe front man Vince Neil, actress Sean Young, Bravo reality star Bethenny Frankel, All My Children’s Rebecca Budig, gold medal freestyle skier Jonny Moseley and Sonny With a Chance star Brandon Mychal Smith.
